9Eons launches GuardianSIM®: scam-call protection for the people you care about
Scammers call older and vulnerable people every day, and many families feel the only answer is to take the phone away. This month 9Eons launched GuardianSIM®, a UK mobile SIM built to give them another option.
In allow-list mode, calls from strangers and scammers are stopped in our network, before the phone even rings. Families and carers choose who can get through using the GuardianSIM portal, and the people on that list ring straight through as normal.
- Works in the person’s own phone, including simple feature phones, with no app needed
- If the carer allows it, callers who are not on the list can leave a message, which is emailed to the carer written out
- 999 calls always go straight through to the emergency services
- People can keep their existing mobile number
GuardianSIM® runs on the same network and support team that 9Eons has built over almost two decades, and it is covered by our membership of CISAS, the Ofcom-approved dispute resolution scheme.
